Stuck At Home? Tour the Smithsonian From Your Couch

Sheltering in place can have many complications outside of ensuring you have enough food and supplies to stay safely at home for several weeks. In terms of keeping busy and being entertained, it also means you're likely to experience boredom, a lot of TV show binging, and a lot of time on the internet.

Thankfully, there's a way to still access culture, education, and see history come to life through virtual tours being offered around the world. And the best news is these tours are available to you from the comfort of your own couch!

Today's Virtual Tour Spotlight is on The Smithsonian, National Museum of Natural History, who is currently allowing visitors to take self-guided, room-by-room tours of select exhibits and areas within the museum from their desktop or mobile device. Visitors can access collections and research areas at their satellite support and research stations, as well as experience past exhibits no longer on display.
